The fruit are carefully sanded, so they are nice to touch. Playing pretend games is huge part of child's world. Interacting with other children they practice their social skills, try roles in different situations and professions. For example, playing with fruit & vegetables sets they act going to the grocery and interacting with the shop-assistant, or play the role of seller. This helps children to broaden their language skills and prepare for such interaction in real life.
